What Pumba is
Pumba is a command-line tool for chaos testing and network emulation on Docker, containerd and Podman containers. It can kill, stop, pause, remove and restart containers. Network commands add egress delay, drop packets, and duplicate, corrupt or rate-limit traffic using netem and iptables. The stress command loads container CPU, memory and I/O through stress-ng. Targets are chosen by name, re2 regular expression or label, with optional random selection. An interval flag repeats chaos actions on a schedule. It targets Linux containers, and macOS builds drive remote container runtimes. Windows is not supported. It ships as a release binary and as a container image.
