Privacy

The site is a set of static pages. It runs no analytics script, sets no cookies and shows no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

There are no accounts, forms or comments. Filters and sorting run in the browser, and a chosen sort is kept only in the page address.

Fonts and scripts are bundled with the site. No third-party font, script or tracking service is used.

An email sent to hello@freeqatools.com is used to handle the correction or suggestion it contains.

Editorial

Tools are listed by the published inclusion rules.

Every number comes from the GitHub or GitLab API and shows the date it was fetched. Lists are sorted by a stated key, never by an editorial score.

Descriptions are written from each tool's README and documentation, with the source linked. Comparison cells state documented facts with a source, or read not documented.

Corrections

A reported error in a description or comparison is checked against the cited source. A confirmed error is fixed at the next update.

Metrics are not edited by hand. A wrong number is replaced by the next monthly fetch from the API. See how to send a correction.

Terms of use

The site is provided as information, without warranty. Metrics are as reported by the host APIs on the date shown and may have changed since.

Tool names belong to their projects. Each project's code is under its own license, linked from its tool page.

Links to repositories and documentation lead to sites that FreeQATools does not control. A license decision should rest on the license file in the repository, not on this site.
