What LitmusChaos is
LitmusChaos is an open source chaos engineering platform and a CNCF project. It runs controlled chaos tests to find weaknesses and potential outages in infrastructure. The platform is built as a set of microservices. Kubernetes custom resources define the chaos intent and the steady state hypothesis. A control plane called chaos-center builds, schedules and visualizes chaos workflows. An execution plane of agents and operators runs experiments in a target Kubernetes environment. ChaosResult resources hold each run's verdict. An exporter publishes those results as Prometheus metrics. Experiments are shared through the ChaosHub at hub.litmuschaos.io.
