What kube-monkey is
kube-monkey is a Kubernetes implementation of Netflix's Chaos Monkey. It deletes pods in the cluster at random to validate that services tolerate failure. Applications opt in through labels in their metadata. Terminations happen only during configured hours and days. Dry run mode is the default. The project installs into the cluster as a Helm chart. Its documentation also covers a Prometheus metrics endpoint. Attack notifications can be posted to Slack or a custom API.
