What NUnit is

NUnit is a unit-testing framework for .NET languages. It runs on macOS, Linux and Windows. Its scope reaches from unit testing with TDD to system and integration testing. It provides several ways to assert how code behaves. Many parts of the framework can be extended. Version 5 targets recent .NET features and C# language constructs. This repository holds the framework used to write tests. Separate NUnit projects supply the Visual Studio adapter, Roslyn analyzers, and the console runner and engine. Releases are published as a NuGet package.
