What CodeceptJS is
CodeceptJS is an end-to-end testing framework for Node.js built on Mocha. Tests are scenarios in which every action and assertion is a method of the `I` object. Helper modules connect these steps to Playwright, Puppeteer, WebDriver, Obscura, Appium and Detox, covering web and mobile apps. Elements are located by name, label, text, CSS or XPath. An interactive shell pauses a test to try commands in the browser. The project lists parallel execution, TypeScript support and CLI generators for tests and page objects. It also lists AI features that help heal failing tests.
