What Specmatic is

Specmatic is a contract-driven development tool that treats API specifications as executable contracts. Supported specification formats include OpenAPI, AsyncAPI, GraphQL SDL files and gRPC proto files. Running these contracts gives feedback on changes before they break dependent services. The stated aim is to let each service deploy independently without relying on integration tests. The core library is published to Maven Central. A Docker image is also available.
