What Pact Net is
Pact Net is the .NET implementation of Pact for consumer-driven contract testing. Consumer tests use a V4 pact builder to define HTTP interactions and run them against a mock server, shown in the README with xUnit. The PactVerifier class checks a provider against pact files and supports a provider state URL. Messaging pacts are also supported. Version 5.x supports Pact specification versions 2, 3 and 4. The core logic runs in a shared native Rust library. Provider APIs must therefore listen on a real TCP socket rather than an in-memory test server. Supported platforms are x64 Windows, glibc Linux on x64 and ARM64, and macOS. Packages are published on NuGet.
