What Pact Go is
Pact Go is the Go implementation of Pact, a consumer-driven contract testing tool for HTTP and event-driven systems. Its consumer package starts a mock provider during unit tests and records the expected interactions in a pact file. Its provider package verifies a running API against one or more pact files. Version 2.x supports Pact specification versions 2, 3 and 4. It integrates with Pact Broker and PactFlow. The library calls C shared libraries compiled from Rust, so cgo must be enabled. A pact-go CLI downloads and installs those libraries. Supported platforms are macOS and Linux on x86_64 and arm64, plus Windows on x86_64.
