What Kakao is

Kakao is a Kotlin DSL for writing Android UI tests that builds on Espresso. Tests define a Screen class that holds KView objects, such as KButton, KEditText and KTextView. Each KView locates its view through Espresso-style matchers like withId and withText. Actions and assertions run on those views inside an onScreen block. Screens can serve as Page Objects. KListView and KRecyclerView, with adapter item classes, handle list and RecyclerView content. Custom views, matchers, actions and assertions extend the DSL. The library is added as a Gradle or Maven test dependency.
