What Detox is
Detox is an end-to-end testing framework for mobile apps that takes a gray box approach. Tests are written in JavaScript and target React Native apps on Android and iOS. They drive the running app on a device or simulator the way a user would. Real-device testing is not yet supported on iOS. Detox monitors asynchronous operations in the app to synchronize test steps. Its API works with any test runner. Jest integration is included. Tests can run on CI platforms such as Travis CI, CircleCI or Jenkins. The README lists official compatibility with React Native 0.77 through 0.84.
