What Godog is

Godog is the official Cucumber BDD framework for Go. Scenarios are written as Gherkin feature files with Given, When and Then steps. Step definitions are Go functions matched to steps by regular expressions. A suite runs through go test, either as subtests of testing.T or from TestMain. Hooks run before or after scenarios, steps and the whole suite. State passes between steps through context.Context, which stays safe when scenarios run concurrently. Output formatters include pretty, progress and a cucumber format. The README notes that the API may change before version 1.0.0.
