What cucumber-ruby is
cucumber-ruby is the Ruby implementation of Cucumber, a tool that executes automated tests expressed in plain language. It is distributed as a Ruby gem. Supported platforms are Ruby 3.2 to 4.0, TruffleRuby 24 and later, and JRuby 10 and later with some limitations. Specifications are Gherkin feature files, and Ruby step definitions automate each step. The `cucumber --init` command creates the features directory layout. Runs can target one feature file or one example by line number. Output formats include a summary on standard output and an HTML report. The separate cucumber-rails project adds it to Ruby on Rails applications.
