What Step CI is
Step CI is an open-source framework for API quality assurance. Test workflows are configured in YAML, JSON or JavaScript. A single workflow can test REST, GraphQL, gRPC, tRPC and SOAP APIs. It is self-hosted and tests services locally, on internal networks, and in CI/CD pipelines. The CLI installs through npm or Homebrew. It runs a workflow file with the stepci run command. By default the CLI collects anonymous usage data, and an environment variable turns this off.
