What hey is

hey is a command-line program that sends load to a web application. It runs a set number of requests at a chosen concurrency level and prints statistics. A duration flag can replace the request count. A per-worker rate limit caps queries per second. Flags set the HTTP method, headers, request body, timeout, basic authentication and proxy. HTTP/2 endpoints are supported. Results print as a summary or as CSV. The project was previously named boom.
