What Test Reporter is
Test Reporter is a GitHub Action that displays test results inside GitHub. It parses XML or JSON result files and publishes them as a GitHub Check Run or as an Actions job summary. Failed tests receive code annotations built from the captured message and stack trace. Supported formats include dotnet test (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest), Dart and Flutter test, go test, Java JUnit, Jest and Mocha. Further formats cover pytest, unittest, PHPUnit, Nette Tester, RSpec, Swift xUnit and Unreal Engine automation tests. The action exposes the conclusion and the passed, failed and skipped counts as outputs. For pull requests from forks, the README documents a two-workflow setup because those runs get a read-only token.
