What Serenity BDD is
Serenity BDD is a library for writing automated acceptance tests and reporting on them. It instruments test code, records the steps each test executes, and stores results in a standard format. It then aggregates those results into living-documentation reports covering requirements, features and acceptance criteria. Test detail pages show interactions and screenshots. It adds reporting to tests written with Cucumber and JUnit. The README states that the current version does not support JBehave. It integrates with Selenium WebDriver for web tests and RestAssured for API tests. Supported coding patterns include the Screenplay Pattern, Lean Page Objects and Action Classes. The Jira integration modules are deprecated.
