What cypress-axe is
cypress-axe is an npm package that adds accessibility testing with axe-core to Cypress. It provides commands to inject the axe-core runtime, configure axe, and run checks. The `cy.checkA11y` command audits the page at the moment it is called, so checks can follow user interactions. Checks can be limited to part of the DOM and filtered by impact level. Retries cover content that loads late. A skipFailures option logs violations without failing the test. A violation callback allows custom output, such as tables in the terminal. It supports Cypress 10 and later, with an older release line for Cypress 9.
