What Visual Regression Tracker is
Visual Regression Tracker is a self-hosted service for visual testing and for managing its results. It receives screenshots and compares them pixel by pixel against a previously accepted baseline. Baseline history and ignore regions are part of the feature set. Comparison providers include Pixelmatch, Looks-Same, Odiff and a Vision Language Model mode, chosen per project. Any platform that produces screenshots works, including web, mobile and desktop. Agents exist for Playwright, Cypress, CodeceptJS and Robot Framework. Core SDKs cover JavaScript, Java, Python and .NET, and a REST API serves other languages. The server runs from Docker images. A standalone jar compares PDFs and images from a folder.
